Snowboard: Toward the Games

The Zürich meetings in the different working groups under the FIS Snowboard Committees had the Olympic Winter Games as a main theme. While the preparations for the 2010 Games in Vancouver are entering their final stage, the organizers of the 2014 Games in Sochi still have more time. Even so, an inspection of the planned Sochi venue is scheduled for early November .

In terms of rules and calendar planning, there were some rules changes to enable one run qualifications and finals in half-pipe and small amendments to the World Cup calendars in the 2010/2011 and 2011/2012 seasons.

The Snowboard Committee has submitted a proposal to the Council for its consideration to present to the 2010 FIS Congress to add slopestyle as a World Championship event in the FIS Snowboard World Championships and in the Junior World Snowboard Championships starting with the 2010 edition in New Zealand in August 2010.

The Sub-Committee for Snowboard and Freestyle Youth and Children's Questions also met to discuss its strategy and will be working on an organizational analysis and determining its goals and strategy to implement under a new chairman to be appointed by the Council at its next Meeting.

La prevendita ufficiale è già iniziata ed è meglio non perdere tempo perché i biglietti finiranno presto. La variazione del prezzo è dovuta al cambio della struttura che impegnerà più soldi e più fatica per farla. Ma il biglietto di 37 € (più prevendita) è ancora abbordabile ed assicura uno spettacolo grandioso. Il biglietto Vip è invece disponibile al prezzo di 127 € (più prevendita).

Destroy Night Event

A Passo San Pellegrino, Sabato 20 Febbraio 2010 dalle ore 20.00 alle 24.00 si svolgerà una gara in notturna per snowboarder e skiers...

ALLESTIMENTO
L'area della competizione sarà composta da un salto con un flat di circa 10/15 metri e in sequenza una scalinata con tre strutture in riga tra box e rail, infondo all'arrivo verranno allestiti i gazebi degli sponsor oltre al palco per la band o Dj e il punto di ristoro con cibo e bevande.

TIPOLOGIA GARA
Gli atleti dovranno sfidarsi l'uno contro l'altro usando il salto prima, e la scalinata poi, mostrando le loro qualità giudicate dalla giuria. Il format della gara sarà in jam session. Gli atleti invitati accederanno direttamente alla finale mentre gli altri partecipanti dovranno eseguire una run di qualificazione. L'iscrizione alla gara è gratuita non ci sono federazioni e l'unica distinzione di categoria è quella tra snow & ski.
